What we do

We build the marketing systems that keep event lighting companies booked: websites that show the work properly and convert, local search presence so buyers find you first in your metro, and venue pipelines that produce referrals every season without further spend.

We work with companies running two to fifteen people, typically winning jobs between $2,000 and $15,000. That size matters, because it means one additional booking covers months of our fee. You should be able to do that arithmetic on day one, and if it does not work we would rather you did not sign.

Where we came from

Our team designs and builds for lighting and interior brands. Two of those builds are public, live and documented on this site: Northerncult, a designer lighting ecommerce store serving North America, and Craftaforms, a luxury interior finishes brand with presence in Toronto and Dubai.

Neither is an event lighting company, and we will not pretend otherwise. What they show is the standard of build and the commercial thinking: catalog architecture at scale, funnels built for trade buyers rather than consumers, and editorial presentation of products that sell on how they look. The event lighting specialism is what we do with that capability. It comes from the fact that light is a visual product sold to people who cannot easily compare suppliers, and that the venue relationship sits at the centre of the whole industry.

How we work

Every engagement starts with a free audit, because we would rather tell you honestly what is wrong than sell you something you do not need. Sometimes that means telling a company their website is fine and their real problem is that nobody replies to enquiries within a day.

The retainer runs month to month. There is no long contract, no rebuild fee and no proprietary platform holding your site hostage. You own your site, your domain and your content outright.
